Why did Binance refuse my order?
The message Binance returns says why; the three we see most are an unsigned TradFi-Perps agreement, insufficient margin, and an invalid API key or IP.
- "Please sign TradFi-Perps agreement contract" — the coin is one of Binance's stock-linked perpetuals (for example SHOPUSDT, DKNGUSDT, APPUSDT). Binance requires you to accept their agreement once in the app before it allows orders on them. Accept it, or keep the bot away from them with
/banCoin. - "Margin is insufficient" — your futures wallet does not have the free margin for the entry. Each entry needs roughly its position size in margin, so position size × open positions has to fit in your balance. Lower
/setPositionSizeor/setPositionLimit, or add funds. - "Invalid API-key, IP, or permissions" — the key was deleted, futures is not enabled, or our IP (91.99.78.29) is not in its allowed list. Create a new key and save it at /app/keys.
More detail on the last one: Invalid API-key, IP, or permissions: how to fix.
