Groups are the tabs Binance shows on its futures market: TradFi (tokenized stocks, commodities and indices), DeFi, AI, Layer-1, Layer-2, Meme, Gaming and more. A coin can be in several groups; banning any of them blocks it. Binance decides which coins are in which group.
Examples
/banGroup Meme
Your banned groups: TradFi, Meme
Several at once, with spaces or commas:
/banGroup Meme, Layer-2
Send /banGroup alone for buttons, one per group; a tap bans or unbans it (✅ = banned):
Tap a group to ban or unban it (✅ = banned). You can also type names, like: Meme, Bitcoin Eco
Allow TradFi coins again:
/unbanGroup TradFi
Questions
Why is TradFi banned on my new account?
TradFi contracts follow stocks, commodities and indices, and Binance asks for a separate TradFi-Perps agreement before you trade them. New accounts start with the group banned; send /unbanGroup TradFi to trade them, after signing Binance's agreement.
Can I trade a group smaller instead of banning it?
Yes: /setSize Meme 50 trades coins in the Meme group at half your position size.
Why can't I use /banGroup?
It is a Tier 2 and 3 feature, so on Tier 1 and the free trial the bot answers with the tiers that have it. /banCoin works on every plan.

Related commands
- /banCoin/banCoin followed by coin symbols, such as /banCoin BTC ETH, stops the bot ever trading those coins for you; /unbanCoin allows one again and /banlist shows what is banned.
- /banSignal/banSignal followed by a signal name, such as /banSignal Neon, stops the bot trading every signal with that name; every HafizeBot signal carries a name like Neon or Oxygen, and /unbanSignal allows it again, Tier 2 and 3.
- /banlist/banlist shows your banned coins, signal names and Binance groups together, so you can check in one message what the bot will never trade for you.
- /smartSizing/smartSizing shows, and /setSize changes, how much of your position size each kind of trade uses, such as /setSize longs 50 for half-size longs; 0% skips that kind of trade, and Tier 2 and 3 can use it.
