Why was my order refused for Multi-Assets mode?

In Binance's Multi-Assets mode only cross margin is allowed, so an isolated-margin entry is refused (-4168); the bot then trades your account on cross margin, or you switch Binance back to Single-Asset mode.

The message you got: in /lastsignals, "your Binance account is in Multi-Assets mode, which allows only cross margin", or an entry marked "on cross margin: your Binance account is in Multi-Assets mode".

What it means. Multi-Assets mode lets several assets in your futures wallet back your positions together, and Binance allows only cross margin in it. When your bot setting is isolated margin, the first entry is refused with error -4168. The bot remembers it for your account and enters on cross margin until the bot restarts, so later entries go through; /lastsignals marks them. If you switch Binance back to Single-Asset mode, the bot notices and returns to your own margin type.

On cross margin a losing position can draw on your whole futures balance, not only its own margin, so a stop-loss inside your liquidation distance matters more: see the stop-loss.

What to do, either:
