/setMinTarget: skip signals whose target is too close
/setMinTarget makes the bot skip a signal whose target is less than this many percent from its entry, for a new coin and for an add to a coin you hold, from 0 (off, the default) to 100, decimals allowed, Tier 3.

Every signal message shows how far its target is from the entry, as "Profit". With this set, the bot skips a signal whose target is closer to its entry than your minimum. It applies to a new coin and to an add to a coin you already hold, because an add with a close target gets a close take-profit too. Longs and shorts alike.

/setMinTarget 2

/myMinTarget

Questions
Which number is compared?
The exact distance from the signal's entry price to its target price. The signal message shows it rounded down to a whole percent as "Profit", so a target 2.9% away shows as "Profit: 2%" and is still taken with a minimum of 2.5.
Is this the same as my take-profit distance?
No. /setTakeProfitDistance moves where your own take-profit sits. This setting looks only at the signal's target, before anything is placed.
What if a signal has no target?
While the setting is on, it is skipped, because the bot never trades on a condition it cannot check.
Is it a good idea?
It is a tool with a trade-off. A close target is often reached quickly, so skipping those signals also skips trades that would have closed in profit, and past results guarantee nothing. /lastsignals shows what it skipped, so you can judge it on your own account.
Does it work right away?
Your value is saved at once and /myMinTarget shows it. The bot checks it on the next signal.
Why is this a Tier 3 setting?
It is one of the limits that come with the Tier 3 plan. Your plans and what they include: /plans.
