On Binance futures, longs and shorts pay each other a funding rate. When it is strongly negative across the market, a large part of it is crowded on the short side, which tends to come with falling prices. With the funding pause on, the bot opens no new trades and adds to no coin for you on such a day, from about 00:20 UTC, once that day's reading is in, to the next 00:00 UTC, longs and shorts alike. Your open positions, take-profits and stops stay exactly as they are.

Questions
What does "strongly negative" mean here?
The bot reads Binance's funding rates for every coin once a day, after 00:00 UTC, and looks at the level across the whole market. When that level is well below zero, the day is paused. It is the same reading for every member who has the pause on.
Does it close my positions?
No. It only stops new entries. Positions already open keep their take-profit and stop and close as they would have.
What if the funding reading is not available?
Then the bot trades as usual that day. The funding pause is a brake you choose, not a safety check, so a missing reading never stops your trading.
Is it a good idea?
It is a brake for falling markets, not a way to make more. It may reduce losses in a slide, and it costs return: the trades it skips include the ones that would have recovered, and in our tests on past signals it gave up a little return on its own. Past results guarantee nothing. /lastsignals shows what it skipped, so you can judge it on your own account.
Does it work right away?
Your choice is saved at once and /myFundingPause shows it. The bot checks it on the next signal.
Why is this a Tier 3 setting?
It is one of the limits that come with the Tier 3 plan. Your plans and what they include: /plans.
