What happens when my VIP expires?

Nothing is charged: VIP simply ends on its date and you are removed from the VIP channel within the hour, unless you renew or have switched on /subscribe.

• Renewing early costs nothing: buying again adds the new months on top of your current expiry date.
• Automatic renewal is off by default. /subscribe turns it on: when your membership is within 3 days of expiring and your balance covers the price, it renews from your balance.
• Upgrading mid-term (for example Tier 1 to Tier 2) halves the remaining time and then adds the new months.
• /status shows your tier and expiry date at any time.
