/setDifference: the same-coin gap between HafizeBot entries

/setDifference sets the same-coin gap: how far the price must move past your last entry on a coin before the bot adds another entry there, 3% by default; 0 takes every repeat signal.

When a new signal fires on a coin you already hold, the gap decides whether it adds an entry. For a long, the new entry must be more than the gap below your last entry; for a short, more than the gap above it. /setSameCoinGap does the same.

Examples

/setDifference 5
Same-coin entry gap updated to 5%.
/myDifference
Your Same-coin entry gap: 5%

A repeat signal inside the gap, in /lastsignals:

Oct 11 09:42 UTC SOLUSDT LONG, strength 3: skipped: the price was within your same-coin gap of your last entry on this coin (/setDifference)

Questions

Does the gap make the bot buy dips?

No. The bot only acts when a new signal fires. The gap only filters repeat signals on a coin you hold; it never adds an entry because the price moved.

How do I stop repeat entries on a coin entirely?

/allowRepeatingSignals no: the bot then holds at most one entry per coin until that position closes.

Can longs and shorts have different gaps?

On Tier 2 and 3, yes: /setRule shorts gap 5.
