How do I connect my Binance API key?

Send /autotrade in @hafizebot, then log in at hafizebot.com with Telegram and paste a new Binance key — futures enabled, withdrawals disabled, restricted to IP 91.99.78.29 — at hafizebot.com/app/keys.

What you need first: an active VIP plan (or the free trial), a Binance account with two-factor authentication, identity verification and a first deposit of any amount to the Spot wallet (Binance asks for all three before it lets you create a key), and a Futures account opened on it. Create the key only after the Futures account exists: Binance cannot give the Futures permission to a key made before that, or to any key on an account with Portfolio Margin switched on, which HafizeBot does not support.

Part 1: Binance, before the key

Open your Futures account if you have not traded futures yet. Binance asks you to activate it once: you pick an experience level and accept the Futures agreement, and Binance requires identity verification before you can trade.
Move USDT into the USDⓈ-M Futures wallet. Spot, Funding and Earn balances do not count for futures, and USDⓈ-M and COIN-M Futures use separate wallets. Open the USDⓈ-M Futures trading screen on the website, find the Assets box at the bottom right, choose Transfer, pick USDT, enter the amount you want the bot to be able to use, and confirm. In the app, open the Futures wallet and use its Transfer button; the menu names change from time to time, so look for Transfer between Spot and USDⓈ-M Futures. Check that the amount shows under your Futures assets. Without it every order is refused with "Margin is insufficient" (what that means).

Part 2: create the key

Switch auto-trading on: send /autotrade in @hafizebot. For an active VIP member it switches on immediately.
Open API Management in Binance. On the website: profile icon, Account, API Management. In the app: More, then API Management in the Other section (the app may ask you to switch to the Pro version first).
Create a new key: choose Create API, then System-generated (a self-generated Ed25519 or RSA key does not work with HafizeBot). Give it a label such as "HafizeBot" and confirm with your two-factor devices. Make a key only for HafizeBot.
Restrict the IP first. On the new key, open Edit restrictions (the label may differ slightly in your version), choose Restrict access to trusted IPs only and add 91.99.78.29 (our server). Binance keeps every box except reading locked until a trusted IP is added, and the key then works from that address only.
Then tick the boxes:
- Enable Futures: tick it. Nothing else is needed; leave spot and margin trading unticked.
- Enable Withdrawals: leave it off. HafizeBot never needs it.
Save and confirm with your two-factor devices.
Copy the API key and the secret. Binance shows the secret once; if you lose it, create a new key.

Part 3: add it on the website, never in a chat

Open hafizebot.com/app/login and tap Log in with Telegram.
Go to /app/keys, paste the key and the secret, and save. The secret is stored encrypted and never shown again. HafizeBot never asks for a key in a chat or by email.

Part 4: check and start

Send /settings in @hafizebot to review your limits.
Send /on. The bot asks Binance about the key and tells you if autotrading is on or why not.

What the warnings mean

A key is saved even when it has a problem, and you see a warning. The same checks run when you send /on.

"This key can withdraw funds." Enable Withdrawals is ticked. HafizeBot does not need it. Edit the key on Binance and untick it.
"This key is not restricted to our server's IP." The key would work from any address. Restrict it to 91.99.78.29 on Binance.
"Enable Futures is off." Binance will refuse every futures order until you tick Enable Futures on the key.
"We could not check this key with Binance just now." The key is saved anyway. Send /on in a few minutes and the bot checks it again.

After fixing the key on Binance, save it again on the keys page; the warning goes away when the key passes. If /on says Binance refused the key, the usual causes are a missing Enable Futures, an IP that is not exactly 91.99.78.29, a deleted key, or a Futures account that is not opened yet; see Binance refused my API key.
