Binance sometimes delists a futures coin and settles every open position at its own price on a set date. This setting decides whether the bot closes your position on such a coin first. Either way, the bot opens no new trades on a coin Binance is delisting.
Examples
/setDelistingClose on
🛡 Close before a delisting: on
On: if Binance announces it will delist a coin you hold, the bot closes your position with a market order about 60 minutes before Binance's settlement, then cancels its take-profit and stop. Off: the position stays open until you close it or Binance settles it at its own price.
Either way, the bot opens no new trades on a coin Binance is delisting. It starts off for everyone.
Change it: /setDelistingClose on or /setDelistingClose off
/setDelistingClose off
Send it alone and the bot shows yours and waits for on or off. Anything else gets:
Send /setDelistingClose on or /setDelistingClose off.
Questions
Is it on by default?
No. It starts off for everyone, so the bot never closes a position unless you switched this on. /summary shows yours on the "Close before a delisting" line.
What happens if it is off?
The position stays open. You can close it yourself in Binance at any time before settlement; whatever is still open at settlement is closed by Binance at its settlement price.
Will I know a coin is being delisted?
Yes. When Binance announces a delisting of a coin you hold, the bot tells you which coin, the settlement time in UTC, and what your setting will do.
